Yun Jeong Bae is a multi-media artist, from Korea, and studied at the School of the Art Institutie of Chicago for BFA and MFA programs. She explored painting, drawing, video, and digital
animation, also expanded her interest on researching virtual environment and new media arena during the academic practice time. She works on making experimental animation through multimedia method, and she enjoy playing with new media work through understanding of computer language as well. The main narrative of her works are inspired by observing human beings in diversified circumstances, and tracing the ironic relationships among the nature, high technology and solitary society. From those inquiries, she spreads out her imaginations as her own visual languages, and she likes telling her stories at virtual spaces as an another meaningful platform of creativity. |
